Career
A pupil of the St. Petersburg youth sports school “Lokomotiv”, in 2005 signed a contract with “ Zenith ” [2] . From 2006 to 2008 he played for the backup and youth team of Zenit, having spent a total of 40 games during this time. He made his debut on August 6, 2008, replacing the local “ Siberia ” [3] in the match of the 1/16 finals of the Russian Cup in Novosibirsk [3] ; in the same year, Zenit entered the club’s official application for participation in the Champions League [ 4] .
In early 2009, on a one-year leasehold basis, he moved to Kuban [5] , in which he made his debut in the Top Division on May 30, 2009 in the match of the 11th round of the 2009 season in St. Petersburg against his native Zenith. Alexander played the whole match, but the team was defeated with a score of 0: 2. In total, he spent 6 matches in the championship for Kuban, 1 match in the Cup of Russia and 12 games in the youth squad tournament, in which he scored 1 goal, after which, due to the expiration of the lease term, he left Kuban [6] .
August 27, 2010 was announced for Spartak-Nalchik , also under a lease [7] . In December, Alexander purchased the Wings of the Soviets in Samara, signing a one-year contract with him. In February he moved to FC Rostov [8] [9] .
