The tract "Stone Village" ( Ukrainian: Kam'yan Village ) is a natural monument , a geological reserve of national importance of Ukraine. It is located near the village of Rudnya-Zamyslovichskaya in the Olevsky district of the Zhytomyr region in the territory of the Zamyslovsky forestry . It is an accumulation of large boulders on several hectares of forest.

Origin hypotheses
There are two hypotheses of the formation of the tract. According to one, the boulders were brought by the glacier , and on the other, they are the remains of the foot of the ancient mountains that have completely disappeared, exposed by the glacier from soil deposits.
Myths and Legends
Numerous legends and beliefs of local residents are associated with the tract.
The name “Stone Village” arose from one such legend telling that once there was a rich village in the forest. Once an old man in wretched clothes passed through him and asked for bread from the owner of a wealthy yard. He waved his hand at him: "Go yourself a man, once to me." The old man, who turned out to be the Lord himself, who came down to earth, came out of the village, looked around and the village turned to stone at once. On one of the stones where he was resting, there was a trace of a giant bare foot.
Another legend tells about the battle that took place at this place between God (in the version - Jesus ) and dark forces. After a long battle, Satan was defeated, deep scratches from his claws remained on the stones. God, returning to heaven, stepped a few steps on the stone and left prints.
Many stones really resemble rural houses in outlines; here they have their own “maidan” with a “school”, and even a “church”. Most often, tourists visit a stone with "traces of God", a staircase is specially attached to it. According to legend, this “trace” gives the pilgrim health and fulfillment of desires.
