Biography

Nina Muradyan began her sports career at the Burevestnik club in Yerevan, and in 1974-1982 she played for Dynamo Moscow . In its composition:

  • two - time champion of the USSR - 1975 , 1977 ;
    • silver ( 1981 ) and two-time bronze ( 1978 , 1979 ) medalist of the USSR championships;
  • two-time winner of the European Cup - 1975, 1977.

Bronze medalist of the USSR Championship 1976 as part of the national team DSO Dynamo.

From 1976 to 1978 she played for the USSR national team . In its composition:

  • silver medalist of the 1976 Olympic Games ;
  • bronze medalist of the world championship 1978 ;
  • European champion 1977 .

In 1982, she received a serious knee injury, due to which she could not play for 5 years. In 1987, she married and moved to Germany , where she resumed her sports career. In 1987, she played for the Turk Turku ( Munich ) team, and from 1987-1990 she played for the Bayern-Lochhof ( Unterschleissheim ), in which she became the champion of Germany in 1988.

In 1988 she changed her volleyball citizenship and played for the German national team at the 1989 European Championship under the name Sawatzki .

In 1990, she switched to coaching. In 1990-2003, she trained the German junior women's team, and in 2003-2007, the men's junior national team. Since 2007, she coached the Austrian men's junior team. [1] [2] Currently works with young volleyball players in the Austrian club Hot Wallace (Vienna).
