Nikolai Ivanovich Nikiforov was born on April 29, 1886 in the Kiev province , in 1910 he graduated from the University of St. Vladimir in Kiev , was left at the university to prepare for a professorship , in 1914 passed master's tests and received the title of privat-docent ; From 1914 to 1917 he was privat-docent of the University of St. Vladimir, in 1917 - 1919, etc. an extraordinary professor at the Omsk Polytechnic Institute in the Department of World History, from 1920 to 1921 he was a professor at Irkutsk State University , from 1921 to 1922 he was an extraordinary professor at the State Far Eastern University in the same department, from January 1, 1922 - etc. Extraordinary Professor of Law at Harbin , Department of the History of Russian Law.

He worked at the Law School in Harbin until the liquidation of the faculty in 1937 (was his last dean). While working at the faculty of law, at the end of the 20s, he created and headed the Russian fascist organization . I read: the history of Russian law, general history, the history of economic doctrines, the latest general history, the history of trade, economic policy, political economy, economic geography, taught practical classes in the general history and history of Russian law, in the history of household life and a proseminarium in the history of Russian law .

In 1928 he defended his thesis "Senior regime in France at the end of the old order" for a master 's degree in world history at the Test Commission of the Russian Academic Group in Prague .

From March 1929 to February 1, 1930 - deputy dean , from February 1 to the liquidation of the faculty - his dean, member and secretary of the Test Commission, chairman of the historical circle. N. I. Nikiforov was the editor of the journal "Bulletin of the Manchurian Pedagogical Society." Since February 1930, he was engaged in private practice.

The author of the translation into Russian of the book of the Frenchman Leon du Ponsen "Secret forces of the revolution." In 1933, the translation was published in the newspaper VFP “Our Way” [1] .

In 1936 he moved to Tianjin , where he opened a private bank with a former employee of the CER . He later lived in Shanghai , where he was engaged in private practice and teaching.

In 1945, he was arrested by Smersh and deported to the USSR. Sentenced to 10 years in forced labor camps , where he died.
