Luxembourg Football Federation (FFL) ( Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Football , Luxembourg Lëtzebuerger Foussballfederatioun ) is a Luxembourg football organization that controls the Luxembourg championships and the Luxembourg football team . The Federation is located in the south of the city of Luxembourg .

History
The first club in Luxembourg, CS Fola Esch and Lawn Tennis Club, appeared in 1906. After 2 years, the Luxembourg Football Federation was founded. The first national championship was played in 1909/1910, and the winner was Racing (now Racing Union).
In 1910, Luxembourg joined the FIFA, and already on October 29, 1911, the national team played the first match against France, which lost 4: 1. Three years later, on February 8, 1914, Luxembourg defeated the same French team 5-4.
In 1930, the Federation adopted its current name, FLF, and football began to gain popularity in Luxembourg.
In 1954, Luxembourg joined UEFA. After 2 years, FC Spora, the first of the Luxembourg clubs to take part in the Champions Cup (now the Champions League)
