Safronov, Vitaly Alexandrovich

Safronov Vitaliy Aleksandrovich (born September 10, 1936 , p. Krivoe , Pankrushikhinsky district , Altai Territory ) is a Soviet and Russian politician . In 1997 - a member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Communist Party .

Biography

Vitaly Safronov was born on September 10, 1936 in the village. The curve of the Pankrushikhinsky district of the Altai Territory in a peasant family.

He graduated from the Sverdlovsk Law Institute in 1960, after which he worked as an investigator in the village of Kalmanka , Altai Territory . In 1961, Vitaly Safronov was elected secretary of the Kalman regional committee of the Komsomol, and in 1967 he became the second secretary of the regional committee of the Komsomol. In 1971, he graduated from the correspondence department of the Novosibirsk Higher Party School, after which in 1973 he became head of the propaganda and agitation department of the Altai CPSU Altai Krai. Subsequently, Safronov graduated from the graduate school of the Higher Party School under the SED Central Committee in Berlin , became a candidate of philosophical sciences, was elected chairman of the regional Council of Trade Unions.

September 27, 1990 - elected First Secretary of the Altai Regional Committee of the CPSU. The party by that time had lost its political monopoly and was criticized by opponents. This was accompanied by a reduction in party ranks: in the eight months of 1990, 7,690 people left the regional party organization [1] . As a result of the events of August 19-22, 1991, by decrees of the President of the RSFSR B.N. Yeltsin, the activities of the CPSU in the territory of the RSFSR were suspended [2] , its property was confiscated [3] . By a decree of November 6, 1991, the activities of the CPSU were discontinued, its organizational structure was dissolved [4] . Instead, Vladimir Raifikest became the head of the Altai Territory administration.

Vitaly Aleksandrovich was one of the initiators of the reconstruction in 1993 of the Altai regional organization of the Communist Party , was elected 1 secretary of the Altai Territory of the Communist Party, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party. Since April 20, 1997, a member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Communist Party . The Altai organization of the Communist Party was headed until 2006, after which Mikhail Zapolev became the head of the Altai Communists.

Since 1993, he has been working on a permanent basis in the legislative bodies of the Altai Territory and Russia: a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the second and third convocations, a deputy of the Altai Territorial Council of People's Deputies of the 4th convocation and the Altai Territory Legislative Assembly of the V convocation. He is currently the head of the parliamentary faction “For Our Altai” of the Altai Territory Legislative Assembly .

Married, has two children, four grandchildren.

Rewards

Has state awards. He was awarded two orders of the Red Banner of Labor, the Order of the Badge of Honor, and five medals.
