The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard (literally: The Elder Scrolls - Adventure: Redguard ) is a third-person adventure computer game in the style of Tomb Raider games , which takes place in the world of The Elder Scrolls . The game originates in Tamriel in the year 864 of the Second Era, 400 years before the events of The Elder Scrolls: Arena . The story of Cyrus, a young redguard who arrived on the island of Stros M'kai to find his missing sister, and later found himself in the heart of political intrigue.

Redguard runs on MS-DOS and uses programmatic graphics output. Voodoo2 3D accelerators are also supported. The game’s manual also includes a section called the Empire Pocket Guide (often abbreviated as PGE, or PGttE), which details events in the Empire throughout the Era. This handbook is written from the point of view of the Imperial , and has several handwritten applications written by anti-imperials. Finally, with some versions of the game, a partially burned world map is provided, providing a greater level of credibility. Previously, copies of “Redguard” came with a comic book depicting events that took place before Cyrus’s adventure on Stros M'kai, now this comic can be downloaded freely on the Internet .
