  1. ↑ Since Manchester United qualified for the Champions League, his place in the Europa League as the winner of the Football League Cup passed to the team that finished sixth in the Premier League (Aston Villa).

Golden Boot

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba received the award for scoring 29 goals in the Premier League. This was his second Barclays Golden Boot in his career.

Golden Glove

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech received the golden glove of the English Premier League , who spent 17 dry matches in the 2009/10 season. Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina also held 17 dry games of the season, but it was Cech who received the award, as the latter had the best ratio of dry matches to the total number of games played in the season.
