Born in 1781, in 1800 was already in military service as a non-commissioned officer of the Mariupol hussar regiment .
In 1806, he was in a battle with the Turks near Khotyn, and on May 3 of the same year he was promoted from cornet to commission . In the next 1807, Zarudny took part in a campaign in Prussia ; in 1809 he was in Galicia .
In the Patriotic War of 1812 he distinguished himself near Smolensk (where he received the Order of St. Anne of the 4th degree) and under Red .
During the Overseas Campaign of 1813-1814. Zarudny took part in the battles of Katzbach and Leipzig and was promoted to headquarters captain , and near La Rotier he recaptured a cannon from the enemy, for which he was awarded the Order of St. Jan. 20 . George 4th degree (No. 2800 according to the list of Grigorovich - Stepanov's cavalier list ).
Then he distinguished himself at Fer-Champenoise and received the Order of St. 4th degree Vladimir with a bow.
Upon returning from the campaign, Zarudny retired with the rank of captain . The year of his death is unknown.
