Content
History
The street appeared in the first regular plan of the city in 1784 , as Spenchinskaya (Spentsinskaya) street. The name is due to the Spenchinskaya street that existed before the introduction of the regular plan, connecting the main city bargaining with the Spentsynsky camp. New Spenchinskaya Street began at the intersection with Ostrozhnaya Street (now MOPR ), and ended with the intersection with Oryol Street . The regular plan of 1812 extended the street almost to modern borders: in the north to Lukovitsky ravine (now Profsoyuznaya street ), in the south to the river Hlynovka . The street received a new name - Vladimirskaya, in honor of the Vladimirskaya Sloboda, which entered the city limits in the new regular plan, and through which the street passed. The name "Spenchinskaya" passed to the neighboring parallel Kuznetskaya street (now Karl Liebknecht ). September 23, 1918 Vyatka City Council renamed Vladimirskaya Street to Karl Marx Street.

Karl Marx Street has a developed public transport connection. Trolleybus route No. 1 runs through the street almost completely: from the fork with Oktyabrsky Avenue to the intersection with Komsomolskaya Street .
