Perfect Cherry Blossom

Winter in Gansokyo does not stop, despite the onset of May, and three heroines (Ramma Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame and Sakuya Izayoy) are trying to find out the reasons for the delay in the arrival of spring. Depending on the choice of the player, one of them goes on the road.

Rising above the clouds, because of which the cherry petals fall, the heroine is in front of the gate to the world of the dead. She runs into half-ghost-half-ghost Yomu Kompaku, who explains that she stole the spring in order to help Sayyo Ayakashi, the cherry tree of the Otherworld (Hakugёokuro), to blossom. After defeating Youmu, the heroine travels to Hakugökuro, where she faces Yuyuko Saigeji; She explains that she wants to resurrect the soul, sealed in Saigyo Ayakashi, and for this the tree needs to bloom. The heroine defeats Yuyuko, however, due to the weakening of the seal, the soul temporarily breaks free. This soul is Yuyuko herself, and the heroine has to avoid her attacks until the seal is restored.

A few days later, Yuyuko asks the heroine for a favor. In order to simplify the abduction of spring, the border between the Otherworld and Gansokyo was weakened by Yuyuko's friend, Yukari Yakumo. Yuyuko asks to find Yukari and remind her to fix the barrier. During the extra-stage events, the heroine again encounters Chen, who turns out to be Shikigami Ran Yakumo. After Chen's defeat, Ran engages the heroine, and after losing, he advises to return at night to meet with Yukari.

The events of the fantasy stage take place at night: the heroine defeats the weakened Ran, Yukari, surprised at the abilities of the heroine, decides to fight her, and, after a hard fight, restores the barrier.

The game features three playable characters (Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame and Sakuya Izayoy), for each of which before the game you can choose one of two types of attack, differing in the nature of shooting and the action of bombs ("spell cards").

Features

The Cherry points system has been added to Perfect Cherry Blossom : shooting at enemies and picking up certain items increases their number, using bombs or losing lives reduces them. With the accumulation of 50,000 cherry-points a character acquires a temporary protective barrier.

When you switch to the focus mode, the hitbox becomes visible, the character of the shooting also changes, and another spell card is used.

During the battles with the bosses becomes visible indicator of the location of the enemy.
