Bridge over Abu
In 1933, a bridge was erected on Metallurgov Avenue by the caisson method: tight cylinders were placed on the site of future supports, air was pumped into them, displacing water. An interesting fact: initially the bridge was not set along the axis of the avenue, but at an angle to it, only in the 50s the builders corrected the mistake.
