Origin
Grandmother Tetisherry is a common woman of small stature, with protruding teeth. This distinguishing feature is characteristic of all its descendants. Tetisherry bore the title of " great royal wife ." Her son Taa II and daughter Yakhhotep became the parents of the first ruler of this dynasty, Yakhmos I.
The grandson ordered to put a stele in Abydos, on it the inscription reads:
Mother of my mother, mother of my father
Tetisherry sits in a magnificent pose with a lily in his hand. The grandson also erected a pyramid for his grandmother with a garden and a lake, but she was buried in Thebes in a family crypt. Her mummy is found in the cache of Deir al-Bahri . Wife of Taa I the Elder , mother of Taa II Sekenenra and grandmother of Kamos and Ahmos I.
