Geography
The village is located on the right bank of the river. Nerl , 17 km southeast of Suzdal .
History
For the first time in historical documents mentioned in the 1st half of the XVI century . In the 19th century , the latrine industry of masons, roofers, painters was widespread among residents. [2]

Attractions
Near the village there are archeological monuments: sites of the Bronze Age “Staritsa-I” (I — II millennium BC), “Staritsa-II” (II millennium BC) and the Neolithic site “Staritsa III "(IV — III millennium BC. E.). The architectural monument of the Baroque era - the Resurrection Church with a bell tower ( 1743 ) has been preserved.
