The river flows through Les-Francesz del Vallès , Canovelias , Granollers , Montmelo , Mollet del Valles , Moncada-i-Rezac , Santa Coloma de Gramanet , Barcelona . In 1970 - 1980 the river was the most polluted in Europe , but then its restoration began.
