Kiziterinka is a junction railway station located in the Aleksandrovka microdistrict of the Proletarsky district of the city of Rostov-on-Don, on the banks of the Don River . It has the status of a freight station.

History
In early December 1917, under the station, one of the first battles of the Civil War in Russia took place - the few Cossack units of the Don Cossack troops and volunteers of the Alekseev organization who were loyal to the oath tried to suppress the Soviet uprising that began in Rostov-on-Don [2] .
Currently, the station mainly serves the freight traffic of the Rostov river port . In addition, suburban trains stop at the station, following in the direction Rostov - Likhaya . Also, electric trains stop at the station as part of the "City electric train" project. [one]
In the future, according to the general plan for the development of the city of Rostov-on-Don, it is planned to deploy a second large railway station, Rostov-Vostochny, in the area of the Kiziterinka station for the passage of high-speed trains to the south.
