Houston aeros

Houston Aeros is a professional hockey club that played in the International Hockey League and the American Hockey League . Based in Houston , Texas , USA . It was the farm club of the NHL team " Minnesota Wild ." Founded in 1994; in 2013 he moved to Des Moines , changing his name to Iowa Wild . The club of the same name existed in Houston in 1972-1978. and performed at the VCA .

Content

History

In 1994-2001 the team played in the International Hockey League (IHL). In 1999, she won the Turner Cup (winner of the IHL playoffs), beating the Orlando Solar Bears in the finals. In 2001, after the IHL ceased to exist, she, like the five other IHL teams, began performing in the AHL. In 2003, she won the Calder Cup by beating Hamilton Bulldogs in the finals.
