Anglo-Norman - a breed of horses , a cross between a heavy Norman mare and a half-blood, mainly English, stallion . It was popular in France . A large horse of strong build, suitable for various use. The Anglo-Normans have no particular homogeneity. Some of them are very reminiscent of English and serve as trotters and horsemen (they repaired part of the French cavalry), others represent a good variety of harnesses, and some, despite the admixture of noble blood, are suitable only for hauling or even crowbar riding. The suit is predominantly bay - from dark carapace to light golden. The breed was of great importance; the best of her representatives made up the majority of random stallions from private breeders of Northern France, where there was no breed of horses that would not be metizo Anglo-Normans.
