NLRP3 , or cryopyrin ( English cryopyrin ) - a cytosolic protein , Nod-like receptor of the NALP family, the main component of the same type of inflammas (NLRP3 inflammas), is involved in the activation of caspases 1 and 5 , which leads to intracellular processing and the formation of a mature active form of interleukins 1 beta and 18 . Known ligands of this receptor are bacterial and viral RNA , uric acid crystals, etc.
