The Open Championship of Slovenia is a professional women's tennis tournament, held under the auspices of the WTA in Portoroz, Slovenia, between 2005 and 2010.

Content
General Information
The PortoroΕΎ tournament is organized on the eve of the 2005 season as part of an expansion program for the autumn European hard-core series. The first tournament came in the second week after the US Open . The venue was the SRC Marina Portoroz complex, where the national team of Slovenia played the home matches of the Federation Cup .
In 2008, the association gradually began to reduce the autumn series of tournaments in Europe, shifting it closer to the end of the season. Slovenian competition was postponed to July, starting a series of tournaments preparatory to the US Open . At the new venue, the competition lasted another three years, after which, in parallel with the completion of a single career, Katharina Srebotnik (the strongest Slovenian tennis player of the time), lost the title sponsor and was closed.
