Bill Pope ( born William Homer "Bill" Pope ; born June 19, 1952 , Bowling Green, Kentucky ) is an American cameraman. Best known for her work in the Matrix trilogy , as well as for collaborating with Sam Raimi and Edgar Wright .

Biography
While in high school, his classmates were John Carpenter and Tommy Lee Wallace [3] . After school, he studied at the University of Virginia at the Department of Architecture [3] . He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, New York University [3] . In the 2014 popular science series “ Space: Space and Time, ” Bill Pope was the operator of all the series, as well as the director of some episodes [4] . For camera work in the first episode of “ Standing on the Milky Way ”, he was nominated for the 2014 Emmy Award [5] . In 2016, he won the “Satellite” prize for the best camera work in the movie “ The Jungle Book ” [6] .
