Biography

Born on January 17, 1790 in the Novograd-Volynsky district, Polish nobleman by birth.

He was determined to serve in 1803 as a lieutenant in the Azov Infantry Regiment and was consistently produced in the following ranks.

Lisetskiy participated in numerous affairs and campaigns. In the 1805 campaign against the French, he was at Etingen, Lambach, Ems, Krems, Shengraben and Austerlitz ; in the 1807 campaign in East Prussia, he was at the battles of Preisisch Eylau and Spandin, where he was twice wounded by a bullet in his leg and thigh.

In 1808, he took part in the Swedish campaign and was in the occupation of the PixemΓ€g, in the battles at the Sisazalme bridge and the Mansdorf River; in 1809 he was in northern Westerbotnia during the occupation of the Sheleth pickaxe and in the battle of the city of UmeΓ₯ and the village of Sephar.

In the Overseas Campaign of 1813, Lisetskiy participated in the blockade of Danzig , in 1815 he was in the Kingdom of Poland and in Prussia .

In 1817 he was promoted to majors and in 1823 - to lieutenant colonel . In 1826 he was transferred by the regimental commander to the Kamchatka Infantry Regiment .

In 1828, in the Turkish campaign , Lisetskiy was at the blockade of the fortresses of Silistra , Shumla and Sisopol and the capture of the cities of Adrianople , Lumburgas and Demotica; in 1829 he was promoted to colonel for distinction.

On December 18, 1830, Lisetskiy was awarded the Order of St. for the immaculate length of service of 25 years in officer ranks . George 4th degree (No. 4435 according to the cavalier list of Grigorovich - Stepanov). In 1831 he took part in the suppression of the Polish uprising .

In 1837, Lisetskiy was promoted to major general , with the appointment of the 1st Brigade of the 1st Infantry Division as commander, and in 1841 - the commander of the 2nd Brigade of the same division. Appointed in 1846 as commander of the 9th Infantry Division, he was promoted to lieutenant general the following year.

In 1849, Lisetsky was on a Hungarian campaign and upon his return he was appointed to be in the Senate in the 2nd branch of the 6th department, and in 1853 he was moved to the 1st branch of the same department.

Lisetskiy died on January 4, 1864 .

Rewards

The military merits of Lisetskiy were distinguished by a number of orders, up to the Order of St. Vladimir 2nd degree inclusive.
