Tverskoy Avenue (media group)

• In October 1994, the TV-6 Moscow channel appeared on the frequency of the Independent Television Station Tverskoy Prospect.
• Since November 1994, the first program of its own production, called the “Telemark”, began to be aired, a program consisting of announcements.
• March 1, 1995 is the date of the first broadcast of the program “News of the Tverskoy Prospect TV Station” ” ^[4] .
• On November 10, 1998, the Patrol Service program was broadcast on Tver with a regular review of criminal news as a local analogue of the Highway Patrol program broadcast on TV-6 Moscow. The concept of the program implied the existence of close ties with the internal affairs bodies, the Ministry of Emergencies , the fire and patrol services. Cooperation with authorities extended to other projects of the channel ^{[5] [6]} .
• In December 2003, during the election of the governor of Tver Oblast, the television company Tverskoy Prospect held the election marathon, “The Choice is Yours”. On the last day of the campaign, the candidates talked with potential voters for four hours live. Residents of Tver could ask their questions by phone and from the site near the building of the television company. Only the winner of these elections, Dmitry Zelenin, refused to take part in the marathon.
• In 2004, the newsroom of the Tverskoy Prospect television company took part in the contest of television essays and journalistic investigations “Just about politics, about politics - just”, organized by the National Association of Broadcasters. The TV program "FOREVER Politics" won the competition.
• In 2007, the media group entered into an agreement under which it received the exclusive right to distribute in the Tver region radio stations that are members of the EMG Total Radio alliance ^[7] .
• Before the elections on a single voting day on March 1, 2009 ^[8] on “Tversky Prospekt” there were stories exposing the election campaign, as well as airtime was given to candidates from the Communist Party ^[9] . A few days before the election, the building of the business center stopped receiving electricity ^[10] , which led to a temporary disconnection from broadcasting of all assets of the holding ^[11] , including non-political radio stations ^[12] .
• Despite the fact that the then governor was in conflict with Yalyshev ^[9] , Zelenin appointed him his deputy ^[13] . Over time, the channel’s news broadcast became more loyal to the ruling party ^{[14] [15]} , and ceased to give opposition airtime ^[16] .
• On May 14, 2012, a new regional television channel without network partners, Tverskoy Prospect - Region , was broadcast ^[17] .
• In 2012, the Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Tver Region suspected the owner of a media holding of illegally appropriating budget funds, which according to the documents went to train journalists of the Tver Region, while no evidence was provided to the supervisor ^{[18] [19]} . In the same year, the Dacha program was closed. The headquarters of the regional branch of the Green Party linked this to the political activities of the opposition leader, since the owner of the holding, who had opposition views earlier ^{[20] [21]} , began to support the ruling party ^{[22] [23]} .

TNT-Tverskoy Avenue is the first Tver non-state television channel. The first local programs on the channel called "Tverskoy Prospect" were released in 1994. Then the channel was a network partner of CJSC MNVK . After the closure of the TV-6 Moscow channel, the Independent Television Station Tverskoy Prospect spent a certain amount of time broadcasting on its own, and on February 11, 2002, TNT became the new network partner ^[29] . Since then it has been bearing the TNT-Tver logo, and the title is a listing of both media: TNT-Tverskoy Prospect.

Tverskoy Avenue - The region first aired on May 14, 2012. This is a fully independent television channel that does not have network partners. In addition to Tver programs and feature films, some of which were also on the Tverskoy Prospect television channel, the television channel showed matches of the Tver Hockey Club in the VHL . The channel is a member of the STP Content syndicate ^[31] .

By the decision of the Federal Competition Commission for Television and Radio Broadcasting dated February 1, 2017, the channel was selected as the mandatory publicly available regional television channel (“21st Button”) of the Tver Region ^[32] .
