Biography
His mother was a pediatrician, his father worked at the leshoz, then as manager of the LenLes Trust. In 1949-1954 he studied at the journalism department of the philological faculty of Leningrad State University , then he was an employee of the newspaper “Youth of Altai” in Barnaul , in 1957 he returned to Leningrad, the same story was published the same year. In the late 1950s - early 1960s, he spent a long time in Siberia, not only as a journalist, but also as an employee of geological expeditions. Member of the USSR JV since 1960.
From 1977 to April 1982, he was the editor-in-chief of Aurora magazine; he lost this position due to the fact that V. Golyavkin 's story “Anniversary speech” (1981, No. 12) was printed in the journal, in which they saw a hint of Brezhnev's 75th birthday.
He died of a heart attack.
Prose Goryshin develops the theme of the superiority of a person close to nature over a city dweller; in this, Goryshin approaches the position of M. Prishvin , K. Paustovsky and I. Sokolov-Mikitov . His prose is largely autobiographical, not rich in action, individual events are often depicted in a concisely-compressed manner.
