Audio conferencing is a type of teleconference , a conference call between three or more participants, during which voice switching (connection) of conference participants occurs using electronic communication channels . An audio conference usually has a coordinator (conference leader) who manages it and makes sure that the theme of the conference, etiquette , etc. are not violated.
