Biography
James Gene was born in 1979 in Taiwan . Grew and studied in Parsippany , New Jersey . He received his art education at the School of Visual Arts in New York .
He began professionally engaged in illustration in 2001 and already in 2004 received the first award in this area - the Eisner Award in the nomination "Best Cover Artist", he received the same award in 2005-2007.
Also in 2005-2006. received the Harvey Award , also in the nomination "Best Cover Artist."
In 2007, he received the Eagle Award for Best Comic Book Cover ( Fables: 1.001 Nights of Snowfall ).
In 2009, he held a solo exhibition at the Jonathan Levine Gallery.
Currently, he continues to work on comic book covers, illustrations, devoting a lot of time to writing personal works.
