Dehgani, Ashraf

Ashraf Dehgani ( Persian اشرف دهقانی , born 1948 ) is an Iranian revolutionary - a partisan , one of the most famous women of resistance to both the Shah’s regime and the Ayatollah’s regime. Organizer and leader of the Iranian Popular Partisan Fidain . Azerbaijani by nationality. She was subjected to repression and torture, in 1973 she successfully escaped from prison. Lived abroad. Author of Torture and Resistance in Iran memoirs about torture, prisons and revolutionary organizations.
