Lukin, Evgeny Yuryevich

By education - philologist . He was educated at the historical and philological faculty of the Volgograd Pedagogical Institute , where he met his future wife Lyubov Belonozhkina. In 1972, after graduating from college, he married . For a short time he worked as a teacher in a rural school in the Kamyshin district of the Volgograd region . Then he served in the Soviet Army near Tashkent . After demobilization, he returned with his wife to Volgograd, where in 1974 his son Yuri was born.

Together with his wife begins to write fantastic stories "at the table." In 1981, the story "Vacation and Photographer" was published in the newspaper "Evening Volgograd." Since then, Lukins have been regularly published in newspapers, magazines and collections, including “ Knowledge is Power ”, “ Around the World ”, “Soviet Fantasy” and others. For the most part, these are short stories and stories : “Smashing steel”, “Building”, “Monument”, “Give my landing foot!”, “Invasion”, “Let me report!” And others. Their works are translated into Czech, Bulgarian and German languages.

In 1990, their first book was published in France . In 1992, co-authors were admitted to the USSR Writers Union . However, Love soon dies. Since 1993, Eugene writes one. The first independent story is “Slovochniki”.

In the future, Yevgeny Lukin switches to a large form: “Zone of Justice”, “We rolled your sun”, “The Scarlet Aura of the Protopartorg”, “The Robber Evil Moon ”, “Bullshit”. He also publishes poetry. Several collections were published: Porcelain Speech, Devil Owl, etc. And also records disks of the author’s song and translates foreign fiction: Pierce Anthony and Barbara Hambley . He lives in Volgograd , is married to his second marriage to Nadezhda Lukina.

Evgeny Lukin is a member of the editorial board of Humpty Dumpty magazine.

“Give back my landing foot!” Is a short short film based on the story of Lyubov and Evgeny Lukin, created at the Mosquito films studio in 2006 . The premiere of the 34-minute film took place on January 5, 2006 on the SSU-TV satellite channel. Then the film was released on a DVD supplement to the March issue of the World of Fantasy magazine and was shown at Roscon 2006.
