As on the previous album, the photos for the booklet were taken by Annie Bertram, and Ingo Romlin was involved in the design. The limited edition album includes a “bonus” disc called G (if) t with four additional songs [1] [2] .

Orkus magazine columnist Dorin Craze set the album to 9 out of 10 points, noting that the album seems more personal and more based on stories from Adrian Heights than previous conceptual albums of the group [2] .
The online music magazine Reflections of Darkness set the album 10 points out of 10. Co-author of the review, Daniela Worndran, named (if) one of the best albums of the year [1] .
