Local government
The municipality operates in accordance with Federal Law-131 “On the General Principles of the Organization of Local Self-Government in the Russian Federation”, in accordance with the charter of the municipality and has a three-level structure of local authorities: [3] [4]
- The head of the municipality is Balobanova Alevtina Aleksandrovna
- Representative body - Council of Deputies of the municipality, consists of 7 deputies
- Executive body - the administration of the municipality
Geographic data
Located in the west of the area, it borders:
- in the west with Loloshur-Vozzhinsky and Porymozarechny rural settlements
- in the northeast with the Kizner district of Udmurtia
- in the south with the Republic of Tatarstan
The Umyak River flows through the territory of the settlement.
The total area of the settlement is 11,279 hectares, of which farmland is 6,442 hectares.
History
The municipality was established on January 1, 2006 as a result of the municipal reform . The predecessor is the Staroyachchinsky village council of the Grakhovsky district.
Staroyachchinsky Village Council
When the village councils were enlarged in 1924, 7 settlements were included in the Staroyachchinsky village council of the Trotsky volost of the Mozhginsky district [5] . In 1929, the Grakhov district was formed and the village council became part of it [6] . In 1935, in order to disaggregate the Grakhovsky district, the Bemyzhsky district was allocated from its structure, including the Staroyachchinsky village council also entered the new district. In 1956, the Bemyzhsky district was disbanded and the Staroyachchinsky village council returned to the Grakhovsky district [7] .
