Education
He graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Economic Relations of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) of the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1970 , and graduated from IMEMO Academy of Sciences of the USSR in 1974 . The candidate dissertation was defended at the IMEMO Academy of Sciences of the USSR in 1976 . ("Socio-psychological factors in the evolution of US policy in Vietnam, 1945-1975").
Scientific and service activities
- 1965 - 1972 - General Directorate of Foreign Tourism at the Council of Ministers of the USSR, translator, referent;
- 1972 - 1981 - IMEMO Academy of Sciences of the USSR, junior researcher , senior researcher .;
- 1981 - 1985 - the journal " World Economy and International Relations ", deputy. chief editor;
- 1985 - 1990 - CPSU Central Committee , assistant secretary of the CPSU Central Committee;
- 1990 - 1991 - apparatus of the President of the USSR , group leader;
- since 1992 - IMEMO RAS , head of the department of international political problems;
- Since 1999 - Council for the Study of Productive Forces (SOPS), a leading researcher.
Scientific interests: theoretical research and forecasting of international relations; forecasting ideological and political-psychological processes; ideological and international political aspects of globalization and sustainable development; problems of national security and sustainable development of the Russian Federation; Globalization and the World Ocean. One of the leading experts in the field of political psychology, is one of the founders of this branch of knowledge in domestic science.
