Endless knot
An infinite knot or an eternal knot ( Skt. Shrivatsa , Tib. Dpal be'u ) is a symbolic knot in Tibet and Mongolia . The motive is used in Tibetan Buddhism . It has several interpretations.
As this knot has no end, so this symbol represents the complete acquisition of the Immeasurable Dignities and the Five types of the primordial Wisdom . As a symbol of Buddha's teachings, he represents the continuity of the twelve links of interdependent origin that underlie cyclic existence.
A symbol of the interdependence of all phenomena and living beings in the universe.
