Biography
Left-back who plays well in the pass and delivers long-range shots. Manisaspor became the first professional club of Hakan, for which from 2002-2007 he spent 128 matches in 4 years and scored 22 goals. In September 2007 he moved to Galatasaray , and immediately became a base player. In the debut season he won the championship. The debut took place on September 16, 2007 in the match against Konyaspor (6: 0), Hakan came on as a substitute.
The game for the Istanbul club earned an invitation to the national team for the most important Euro 2008 qualification matches with the Norwegians and Bosnians . He made his debut on November 17, 2007 against the Norwegian national team (2: 1), where he left in the starting lineup and played the entire match. At the European Championships, he took part in all five matches and helped his team break into the semifinals and win bronze medals.
In the summer of 2018, he completed his playing career.
