Biography
In 1971 he graduated from MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR . He speaks English and French.
Since 1971 - at diplomatic work. He worked at the embassies in Cameroon (1971-1973), Gabon (1974-1978), Algeria (1981-1986).
- 1991-1996 - Advisor to the Embassy of the USSR / Russian Federation in the French Republic .
- 1996-2001 - Senior Advisor, Deputy Director of the Department of International Organizations of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs .
- 2001-2005 - Senior Advisor, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations in New York ( USA ) [2] .
- 2005-2008 - Director of the Department of International Organizations of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- March 27, 2008 — September 26, 2012 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia [3] [4] . On April 18, 2008 he presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Serbia Boris Tadic .
