History
In 1859 there was a village administration in the village and 343 inhabitants lived in 31 courtyards [1] .
In 1874 a church was built in the village and in 1875 it was consecrated in honor of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. Until 1880, the church was considered a subordinate to the church in the village of Grahova. The parish was opened by the Decree of the Holy Synod of November 26, 1891 . In 1895 a two -part parochial school was opened in the village. The church was closed on the basis of the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the UDASR dated August 1, 1940 [2] .
Until 1921, the village was part of the Grakhovsky volost of Elabuga district (since 1921 - Mozhginsky district ). From 1924 to 1954, the village was the administrative center of the Russian-Adamuchinsky Village Council [3] , which consisted of the following villages: Middle Adam-Uchi , Lower Adam-Uchi , Kotlovka , Lipovka and Osinovka . In 1954, the Russian-Adamuchinsky Village Council was liquidated [4] and attached to the Grahovsky Village Council . As a result of the reform of local self-government in 2004, the Grakhovsky village council was disaggregated and the village became part of the newly formed Kamensky rural settlement .
