Brother and sister accidentally find themselves at a modern street performance of ballet. They are so fascinated by the plot that, having forgotten that they are on the show, they rise to the stage and find themselves in a fairyland. Brother falls in love with Olivia, and sister - in the duke. But since objects of love do not allow people of the opposite sex to dress, they dress up: brother in sister’s clothes, and sister in brother’s clothes, and they enter into the service of Olivia and the duke.
