Partitions - walls designed to divide the building within floors into separate rooms. The main requirements for partitions are profitability (including low thickness and light weight), strength, stability, soundproofing, moisture resistance, hygiene and fire resistance.
Depending on the purpose of the partitions, some of these requirements may or may not be taken into account to a lesser extent. For example, interroom partitions in comparison with interior partitions should have increased sound insulation, and partitions in sanitary facilities should have greater moisture resistance and better sanitary and hygienic qualities.
Constructions
By their design, they can have a monolithic section or frame with sheathing by sheet materials, made of rolled panels or small-piece building products (brick, gypsum concrete slabs or foam concrete blocks, etc.)
Most often they are stationary structures, but can be collapsible and transformable - sliding, folding.
Partitions are divided into:
by material on:
- wooden;
- stone;
- from ceramics;
- gypsum concrete:
- drywall;
- glass and others;
Recently, partitions from prefabricated and collapsible structures, which are available to the ordinary consumer, are increasingly being used. All manufacturers and developers of partition systems strive to ensure that the most elementary partition can be assembled by the most ordinary worker.
A typical example of a technological breakthrough is the use of fencing structures in office and administrative centers, which are:
- drywall partitions for residential premises;
- office partitions;
- plumbing partitions;
All these systems made it possible to increase the manufacturability of construction processes and to get away from wet processes (mixing of cement, etc.) and accelerate the process of putting the object into operation.
These systems are so mobile that many companies, developing moving from one place to another, can move without any problems with a complete belongings in the literal sense of the word while capturing their partitions.
