Biography
Allegrini received his musical education at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome and at the Chigi Academy of Music in Siena . His teachers were horn players Luciano Giuliani and Michael Hölzel .
Alessio Allegrini began his performing career as a soloist with the orchestra of the La Fenice opera house in Venice . After that, for several years he was the soloist of the orchestra of the famous Milan Theater “ La Scala ” under the direction of Ricardo Muti . Currently, Allegrini is a soloist with the orchestra of the National Academy of Saint Cecilia in Rome. In addition, he regularly performs as a guest horn soloist in the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra .
In addition to working in leading Italian orchestras, Allegrini constantly gives concerts as a soloist and as part of various chamber ensembles throughout the world: from the largest cities in Europe to villages in the South American Andes .
