Biography
Landsberg was born into the family of a law professor. Carried away by phenomenology , he became a pupil of Max Scheler . In 1928 - 1933 - Privatdocent of the University of Bonn . In 1934 - 1936 - professor of philosophy at the University of Barcelona . In the 1930s collaborated collaborated with a group around the Esprit magazine.
With the Nazis coming to power, a Jewish Jew and Catholic Landsberg emigrated to France and then to Spain. Returning to France, in 1943 Landsberg fell into the hands of the Gestapo . He died in the concentration camp Oranienburg .
