Sergey Vasilievich Solmi ( August 7, 1961 , Vladikavkaz - October 17, 2016 , Moscow ) - Russian artist , jeweler , photographer , screenwriter , sculptor , musician , poet ; one of the most famous representatives of the hippie movement in Russia [1] . Organized and conducted exhibitions, including was known for the creation of the festival "Love Street" [2] [3] . Since 1987, he headed the informal art group "Iris".

Biography
From 1995 to 1998, he worked as chief artist of the newspaper "Light of Love" created together with Yuri Zadorin. After that, Sergei was invited to the post of chief artist in the publishing house of the Moscow Art Theater Theater. A.P. Chekhov to work on the preparation for the centenary of the foundation of the theater in 1998. In the publishing house of the Moscow Art Theater worked together with Alexander Trifonov . Many posters for the Moscow Art Theater and the Moscow Art Theater Museum were made on the basis of the drawings by Sergei Solmi. One of Sergey’s posters, where the Moscow Art Theater building in the form of a ship sails the sea, appeared on the cover of the pilot issue of Our Street magazine in 1999. In 2000, Sergei left the Moscow Art Theater and after two months of work in the magazine Hotel as the main artist went into freelancing .

In 2003, he participated in the Moscow hippie festival “Playing in Beads” together with the Eternal High musical group [1] .
He was buried at the Troyekurovsky cemetery .
