Biography and Creativity
He studied painting in the Netherlands ( Amsterdam , Haarlem , Antwerp ). He moved to Rome around 1620-1622, his first works were created under the influence of the style of Caravaggio . He worked in Venice in parallel with Domenico Fetti and Bernardo Strozzi . He died during the plague. Influenced the work of Tiepolo .
Legacy
Liss's works are presented in museums in Berlin , Bremen , Dresden , Cologne , Munich , Nuremberg , Budapest and others.
