Name Origin
The name arose in the 18th century from the surname of the landowner Novoladozhskaya (her ancestors apparently came from Novaya Ladoga on Volkhov ), in the house of which there was a tavern "Laduga" (it is possible that a false association with Lake Ladoga resulted in the renaming of the neighboring lane into Volkhovsky ). Other sources derive the name directly from the name of the tavern ("Fartin"). For some time, the part of the street adjacent to the current Baumanskaya street was called Sinyavinsky Lane - according to the homeowner Admiral Sinyavin [1] . The part of the street that once adjoined Yauza was called Tsyganov Lane - by the name of the owner of the bathhouse, Tsyganov.

Located in the center of the historical district of Moscow - German settlement . It passes near the place where the German market was located in the 18th — 19th centuries.
Description
Ladozhskaya street begins at the intersection with Baumanskaya street in the immediate vicinity of the place where the house where A.S. was born Pushkin , ends with the intersection with Malaya Pochtovaya Street and the Third Transport Ring , part of the street is pedestrian.
