History

The group was founded in 1982 on the initiative of a native of Livno, Miroslav (Misho) Bratulitsy. After three years of rehearsals in 1985, public performances began, and after the success, the album “Na kraju slavlja” was released, which sold 150,000 copies and went through two editions (April and May 1987) [1] .

The creation of the second album, released in 1988, was strongly influenced by the poetry of Sergei Yesenin , which found expression in the title - “O Jesenjinu” - as well as the lyrics and the general melancholic mood. The album sold 100,000 copies. Rade Sherbejia took an active part in its creation [1] . The presentation of the album took place during a big concert in front of the Sarajevo Cathedral , the song “Jelena” became a hit.

In 1989, with the beginning of the Yugoslav wars and the collapse of the country, the group was disbanded and the participants dispersed around the world.

Attempts to recreate

After the collapse of the group, the group repeatedly attempted to re-create the group, initiated by Bartulica, who continued his musical activities in Livno and released the album Ludnik. Thus, in 2006 in Split, the former members of the group recorded the song “Bosna u basni” [2] , and in 2010 it was decided to create a group called “Grupa.Bolero-reunion”. In 2011 came the single "Dispertango". In 2013, the new lineup returned to the stage, with the exception of vocalists Miroslav Bratulitsa and Mustafa Čizmich.
