Kamchatka District is an administrative-territorial unit of the Far Eastern Territory that existed in 1926 - 1932 .

Kamchatka District was formed in 1926. The center of the district was assigned the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky .
Initially, the district was divided into 8 districts: Anadyr, Bolsheretsky, Karaginsky, Penzhinsky, Petropavlovsky, Tigilsky, Ust-Kamchatsky, Chukotka.
In 1930, the newly formed Chukchi and Koryak national districts were withdrawn from the Kamchatka District. There are 3 districts left in the Kamchatka District: Bolsheretsky, Petropavlovsky and Ust-Kamchatsky. In 1932, the Kamchatka district was transformed into the Kamchatka region .
The population of the district in 1926 was 34.7 thousand people (excluding foreigners, of which 0.2 thousand). Of these, Chukchi - 31.8%; Koryak - 20.6%; Russians - 19.7%; Itelmens - 10.7%; Evenks - 4.1%; Evens - 3.8%; Eskimos - 3.7%; Chuvans - 2.0%.
