Porta Palio ( ital. Porta Palio - " gate of lists ") - gate in the city of Verona ( Italy ). Built by the architect Sanmikeli along with Porta Nuova as a defensive fortification of the city.

Built in 1542 - 1557 and was originally called Porta San Sisto (Gate of St. Sixtus). The place for the construction of the gate was the city lists (palio), mentioned by Dante .
A feature of Porto Palio is their various facades : facing the city has one arched opening and is lined with rustic , and the facade facing the road is made in classical forms, has five openings that form a covered gallery in the thickness of the gates.
