Early life
Nicollett was born into the family of British actress Sally Sheridan. The biological father of the actress was never identified. Mother tried to instill good manners in Nikollett and give her an excellent upbringing. From 3 years old, the actress was engaged in horseback riding and took Greek lessons. In 1973, the family immigrated to the United States.
Career
Sheridan made her debut in 1984 in the series Paper Dolls . Success came to her in 1986, during the filming of the series “ Quiet Pier ”. In 1991, according to People magazine , it was named one of the "50 Most Beautiful People." After the series ended in 1993, she starred in the films The Indestructible Spy and The Beverly Hills Ninja , as well as in several television projects.
In 2004, Sheridan was approved for the role of Idi Britt , a supporting character in the series Desperate Housewives . In the series, Nikollett embodied the image of an insidious woman who does not shy from other people's husbands. In February 2009, Sheridan announced the termination of filming in the series. The actress said that the reason for leaving was the small airtime that was devoted to her heroine Go in the series. The last episode featuring Sheridan was released in April 2009, where Idi dies [4] [5] . After being fired from the show, Sheridan sued Mark Cherry , and then ABC , but both courts, which caused widespread resonance in the press, lost [6] .
Sheridan in the beginning of 2010 starred in the pilot of a new comedy series for CBS , but the channel rejected the show with Sheridan in May [7] [8] . After that, she starred in the television movie "Honeymoon for a Day" for the channel Hallmark [9] .
Since the dismissal and subsequent lawsuit with Mark Cherry and Sheridan Channel lost, her career quickly declined. No other major studio wanted to take the actress in her series or film. As a result, she herself began working as a producer, setting up Wyke Lane Productions [6] . Her first project was the Hallmark Christmas television movie Spirit of Christmas, which is conceived as a potential franchise, where Sheridan plays a major role and is also its producer. Also, the actress, in an attempt to revive her career, herself came up with the concept of a pilot episode of the sitcom, where she wants to play a major role, and plans to sell it to one of the TV channels [6] .
In 2018, nine years after leaving Desperate Housewives, Sheridan returned to television with the role of Alexis Colby in The CW Dynasty , a reboot of the 1980s soap opera of the same name , where Joan Collins played the role of Alexis [10] .
Personal life
In 1991-1993, Nicollette was married to actor Harry Hamlin [11] .
In 2015-2018, Nicolette was married to Aaron Fipers [12] [13] .
