Biography
Ilya Viktorov - singer, composer , musician , musical artist.
Born on March 4, 1983 in Moscow, in the Lefortovo area. Parents: Viktorov Nikolay Sergeyevich and Mozherenko Natalya Andreevna - dancers, soloists of the dance ensemble of the Pyatnitsky choir , so we can say that Ilya’s choreographic abilities are in the bloodstream.
From the age of five, parents began to engage in the comprehensive development of their son. Ilya is given to various circles: dance ensemble, zoological circle, athletics, rock climbing. However, of all his hobbies, Ilya was especially fond of music classes.
Several times a week he attended preparatory classes in the choir, button accordion and solfeggio at a school with a musical bias, of which he later became a student. In 1990, Russian television announced recruitment for the Golden Key children's ensemble. Ilya, as always, said his weighty “I want it!” And went to listen to Shabolovka by the hand with dad. So Ilya got into the famous children's pop ensemble, which collaborated with the composer Grigory Gladkov and took part in various shootings, concerts, festivals.
After graduating from the 9th grade, Ilya decides to connect his future life with a professional occupation in music and acting and enters the Moscow Regional College of Music and Education. In the 3rd year, Ilya becomes a laureate of the prestigious student contest "Festos". In the summer of 2001, Ilya takes part in the international contest of young singers "Kamchia" in Bulgaria and takes 1st place.
After graduating from college, Ilya enters the Russian Academy of Theater Arts (GITIS) at the faculty of musical theater, the workshop of A. B. Titel and I. N. Yasulovich .
In 2003, he took part in the 50/50 competition, chaired by Paul McCartney. The main prize of the competition was a trip and training at the best vocal school in London and a special training grant from Paul McCartney. And this prize rightfully went to Ilya.
In 2004, Ilya began working with a young singer, singer Natalya Fateeva, with whom he creates a classic duet. The combination of voices, artistry and strong energy attracts the attention of more and more attention of the audience. But Ilya’s solo career also does not stand still, he begins to work on his repertoire, both classical and pop.
Also since 2004, Ilya is an artist of the Moscow Academic Musical Theater named after Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko , where he plays in the performances: “Moscow, Cheryomushki” by D. Shostakovich, “Cosi fan tutti” by V. A. Mozart.
At the GITIS Theater he is also given the main roles in the performances: The musical “Swing dreams”, “The Scolding of Lucretia” by B. Britten (Tarquinius), the musical “Sweeney Todd” by S. Sondheim (Sweeney Todd).
In 2006, Ilya successfully auditioned for the role of Ramiro in M. Ravel ’s opera Spanish Hour in the Bell 'Arte creative studio.
After graduating from GITIS with honors, Ilya continues to study in graduate school. In 2007, Ilya takes part in the first open competition of operetta artists and becomes a laureate of a special award; in winter 2007, she takes part in the Golden Voice contest and becomes the owner of 2 special prizes. At the same time, he becomes a soloist in the FSB orchestra and continues to tour actively.
Also at this time, Ilya’s collaboration with a creative workshop under the direction of A. Rybnikov begins, where he plays Pierrot in the musical Pinocchio, later rehearsals of the play “The Star and Death of Haokin Murietta ” begin , where Ilya plays the main role.
In the winter of 2008, a casting takes place for a role that changes the artist’s creative life. He discovers the world of musicals. The first significant work in this genre was the role of the Troubadour in the musical Bremen Town Musicians.
In autumn 2010, Ilya Viktorov was invited to play the role of Master and Yeshua in the musical of V. Ovsyannikov's “Master and Margarita”. Unfortunately, the project is closed for mystical reasons in the spring of 2011. At the same time, he accepts an invitation to participate in the national musical “Lukomorye”. In the summer of 2011, there is an offer to participate in two major projects at once - the musicals “Eastwick Witches” (Michael Spofford) and “Francois Villon. Three days in Paris ”(Francois Villon).
In the fall of 2011, Ilya signs a contract with the VINILPRO Human Rights Center, which immediately takes on the organization of his three solo programs: The Magic of the Duet. “Song that became fate” and “Voice of spring”, with which Ilya is actively touring throughout Russia.
Since 2009, Ilya is a RATI-GITIS teacher in vocals and acting. He is a soloist of the Central Frontier Ensemble of the FSB of Russia [1] .
