This is the oak , which is considered the oldest in Belarus [1] .
It grows 3 kilometers east of the village of Old Romatovo, highlighted 3 quarters No. 31 of the Pozhezhinsky forestry of the State Forestry Institution “Maloritsky Leskhoz” . His age is estimated at 800 years. The height is 46 meters, and the diameter reaches more than two meters [1] . In 1963, the king-oak was declared a natural monument [1] .
Polish King Oak
Oak with the same name is located in Poland ( Bialowieza Forest , Quarter 513A). Height is 43 meters. His age is estimated at 450-500 years. The diameter of the barrel reaches 220 centimeters. He was struck by lightning in 1984 [2] .
