About the album
The album was produced by David Bottrill, who previously worked with bands such as Tool , dEUS , Silverchair and many others.
When recording the album, the group used new instruments for itself - saxophones and trumpets . The album feels the influence of artists such as PJ Harvey and My Bloody Valentine . The sound of Battle for the Sun is heavier than its predecessor, the album Meds (2006).
