Education
He graduated from the classical Lyceum "Massimo" ( Italian. "Massimo" ) in Rome.
He graduated from the University of Rome La Sapienza with a diploma in economics and trade .
Entrepreneurship
Conducts entrepreneurial activities in the field of printing , publishing and information.
He is the president or member of the administrative boards of various societies of the Abete Group.
From 1994 to 2000 - President of the Union of Industrialists of Rome and Lazio
From 1999 to 2003 - President of the National Federation of Travel and Tourism Industry - Federturismo .
Until 2001 - Member of the Council of the General Confederation of Italian Industry - Confindustria .
Work in national football organizations
From 1989 to 1990, he was the head of the Technical Sector of the Italian Football Federation , and from 1990 to 1997 he worked in the C Series Football League
From 1996 to 2000 and from 2001 to 2006 - Vice President of the Italian Football Federation.
From 2007 to 2014 he was president of the Italian Football Federation . When voting, he received 266 votes out of 271 possible.
Political Activities
Member of the Christian Democratic Party of Italy .
